Marianne Curtis’ approach to client service is very simple—she treats her clients like family; and in her eyes, nothing is more important than client service. She has great relationships with her clients that have been cultivated through tireless work on their cases, zealous advocacy in the courtroom, and finding creative and efficient solutions to their problems. For Marianne, the feeling she gets when executing a well-developed legal strategy that delivers favorable results for her clients is unparalleled. From her perspective, one of the best parts about her work as an attorney is the ability to solve problems for people when they need you the most. Marianne’s ability to communicate with her clients in an honest, efficient, and transparent manner is one of the greatest skills used in her practice.
Marianne’s practice focuses on employment litigation, business disputes, complex commercial matters, and receivership litigation. She also has significant experience in corporate director/officer litigation, partnership disputes, internal and corporate investigations, and compliance.
As a former scholarship point guard for the University of Miami women’s basketball team, Marianne has learned the value of hard work, discipline, and achieving favorable results. Subsequently, she transferred those skills to her legal career. In the first ten years of practice, she has acquired robust litigation and trial experience as she has tried over 85 jury trials to verdict. She was also named to The Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” in 2022 and has been honored as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2019. Additionally, in 2019, Marianne received the Rising Star Award from Women of Distinction Judicial Gala, the Rising Star Award from Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Woman Lawyer Achievement Award. She sits on the Florida Bar Board of Governors Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee as well as the Miami-Dade Florida Association of Women Lawyer’s Board of Directors.
