Berger Singerman Elevates Stephanie M. Chaissan and Marianne Curtis to Partner

Berger Singerman, Florida’s business law firm, is pleased to announce that Stephanie M. Chaissan and Marianne Curtis have been elevated to partner. Both Chaissan and Curtis joined the firm in 2018 and are members of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Team. Each is resident in the firm’s Miami office.
Throughout her career, Chaissan has handled a wide range of complex commercial disputes with a focus on construction law and litigation. She supports the firm’s clients with comprehensive legal services throughout all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction contract negotiations, bonding, contract performance, and dispute resolution. Chaissan has extensive experience representing the various parties involved in the design and construction process.

She currently serves as a member of The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division and the Miami-Dade Chapter of Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Chaissan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Delaware where she graduated magna cum laude. Previously, she served as a Special Assistant with the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida and was an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Marianne honed her skills in state and federal court, and she tried over 85 jury trials to verdict, litigated numerous evidentiary motions, and handled multiple appeals.
