With profound sadness, we announce the loss of our colleague and dear friend, Robert D. W. Landon, III. Robbie passed away on March 29, 2024. He was an exceptional lawyer specializing in complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation.
Robbie had a distinguished career and received richly deserved recognition from his peers throughout the legal community. He was passionate and committed to promoting legal access. The Florida Supreme Court recognized Robbie with its outstanding pro bono service award through the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Put Something Back program.
Robbie received several notable industry recognitions, including being honored by the Best Lawyers in America® since 2011. He graduated in 1989 with honors from Amherst College, where he made enduring friendships and met the love of his life, his wife Keith. They married in 1991, and he completed his Juris Doctorate with high honors at Harvard Law School in 1992.
Robbie is survived by his loving wife, Keith, and their incredible daughters Kirby and Claire, and granddaughter, Mary Margaret. He also leaves behind his mother, Peggy and sister, Anne.
We were incredibly blessed to call Robbie our colleague and our friend. Robbie represented all that is right in the legal industry, and the world. His memory inspires us.
