Justin Beardsley is an associate on the Business, Finance & Tax Team and based in the firm’s Miami office. His practice focuses on commercial real estate finance and lending transactions. He represents financial institutions, private lenders, investors and borrowers in connection with construction loans, commercial real estate financings and other secured lending transactions.
Justin has experience drafting and negotiating loan and collateral documents, conducting due diligence, advising on collateral perfection and UCC matters, and assisting clients throughout the closing and post-closing process. His broader finance experience includes acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities and other complex lending transactions.
Representative Matters 
- Represented a Florida commercial bank in a $37.35 million commercial real estate term loan refinancing a portfolio of retail properties throughout Southeast Florida.
- Represented a national private equity firm in an $83 million senior secured credit facility.
- Represented a global technology-focused investment firm in a $60 million credit facility in connection with its acquisition of a healthcare management technology company.
- Represented a national bank as administrative agent and lead lender in a $325 million senior secured syndicated loan facility for a heavy-equipment construction dealer.
