Christopher Andrew Jarvinen Serves as a Judge for The M&A Advisor’s 10th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards

Christopher Andrew Jarvinen, a partner on the Business Reorganization Team of Berger Singerman LLP, recently served as a judge for The M&A Advisor’s 10th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards.
Renowned globally for its recognition of leading M&A, financing, and turnaround professionals, The M&A Advisor created the Emerging Leaders Awards program to honor the emerging leaders in these industries, and to promote mentorship and professional development of the talented young professionals in our midst. The individuals who have been recognized by The M&A Advisor as emerging leaders are professionals who have made notable contributions to their industries and to their communities, and they are considered the future of the M&A, finance, and turnaround industries.
The 2019 award winners were chosen from a pool of prominent nominees identified for their notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community. Evaluation of the nominees and selection of the winners was completed by an independent judging panel made up of prominent members and experts in the M&A, finance, and turnaround community. Mr. Jarvinen was one of 10 professionals chosen to serve as a judge.
Mr. Jarvinen has been elected to the American College of Bankruptcy, American Law Institute, and the International Insolvency Institute, and he has served as a Fulbright scholar at the Bankruptcy Law & Restructuring Research Center in Beijing, China. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School, his undergraduate degree in Economics from Brown University, graduate degrees in theological ethics and religion from Harvard Divinity School and Yale Divinity School, a global Executive Master of Business Administration from FGV-EAESP in São Paulo, Brazil and both a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership and a Master of Science degree in Major Programme Management from the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford.
