Lurking beneath the surface of the Bankruptcy Code, lie statutory conundrums and mysteries that are now percolating through the courts. Are all administrative claims truly created equal? Does an objection to the allowance of a claim based on the receipt of an avoidable transfer require a judgment to be entered or merely a demand made? In a jointly administered chapter 11 case with multiple debtors, must each debtor obtain the assent of at least one impaired, accepting class? This experienced panel will grapple with these issues and many others in an entertaining, interactive program that will both amuse and more importantly, inform.
