Berger Singerman Iryna Ivashchuk Named 2018 South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award Honoree

MIAMI – June 27, 2018 – Berger Singerman, Florida’s business law firm, is proud to announce that Iryna Ivashchuk has been recognized as a 2018 South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40 award honoree. She will be presented with the award at the SFBJ luncheon on Friday, August 3, at Jungle Island in Miami.
The 40 Under 40 awards honor 40 of today’s up and coming business leaders in South Florida who are making a significant impact in their field of expertise, their community and their companies.

A partner and Co-manager of the Business, Finance and Tax team at Berger Singerman, Ivashchuk represents clients from all over the world on acquisitions and dispositions of all types of commercial real estate and business enterprises, asset-based financing, leasing of real and personal property, and real estate development. She also has corporate transactional experience in mergers, acquisitions, joint venture and financing transactions involving private and public companies.
Ivashchuk has been consistently recognized as a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers and was the winner of The M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards’ 2017 “Refinancing Deal of the Year” as well as of the 2017 “Latin American Deal of the Year.” She is also the current Vice President of the Ukrainian American Bar Association. Ivashchuk received her J.D. from the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law, where she was a board member of the Florida Journal of International Law and served as Notes Chair for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Previously, she earned her B.B.A. summa cum laude from the University of North Georgia, and an M.S. in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
