A Thank You from a Client after a Successful Three Week Jury Trial in Federal Court

A photo from our client Star Brite, thanking its Berger Singerman team after a successful three week jury trial in Federal Court involving an intellectual property dispute, where Gold Eagle Co. accused Star Brite of engaging in False Adverting in connection with its leading product, Star Tron. Star Tron is a unique enzyme based fuel additive, designed for use in all fuels, and makes claims that it can cure and prevent problems E10 problems. Gold Eagle asserted that this claim, and many other claims made by Star Tron were false in violation of the Lanham Act. After reviewing reams of scientific and other support for Star Tron’s claims, the jury rendered a verdict that Star Brite did not engage in false adverting.
