Anthony M. Perez
Associate
Anthony M. Perez is an associate on the firm’s Dispute Resolution Team and resident in its Miami office. He has extensive experience handling high-stakes disputes involving partnerships, corporations, shareholder derivative actions, real estate, employment, and bankruptcy. He has a proven track record of guiding clients through complex litigation and has successfully first-chaired multiple trials.
He earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as an editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review and as a judicial intern for U.S. District Judge Marcia G. Cooke. As a legal extern in the University of Miami Federal Appellate Clinic, he drafted a brief that secured a reversal in United States v. Starr, 717 F. App’x 918 (11th Cir. 2017).
Beyond his practice, Anthony remains active in Miami's legal and business communities. From 2021 to 2023, he served on the board of the Miami-Dade Bar and is currently a Young Leader with United Way.
Outside of work, Anthony spends his free time playing chess, basketball, and padel with friends.
