Scott R. Jablonski

Scott “SJ” R. Jablonski is a Partner and member of the firm’s Business, Finance & Tax Team, focusing his practice on assisting clients in a broad array of industries with domestic and cross-border transactions including complex Middle Market buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital and other private securities offerings, borrower-side commercial loan transactions, and other corporate finance transactions. Scott also has extensive experience in serving as outside general counsel to Middle Market closely-held businesses and Emerging Companies, counseling clients in respect of their business structuring and governance matters, equity incentive matters, strategic planning and operational matters, personnel contracts and matters, commercial and licensing agreements, and commercial disputes. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Venture Forum and an inaugural member of the Alan B. Levan/NSU Center of Innovation’s Advisory Council.  In addition, since 2021, Scott has served as Berger Singerman’s first Transactional Innovation Partner, following completion of his studies in Suffolk University Law School’s Legal Innovation & Technology Certificate Program, a Yellow Belt in Process Improvement/Project Management from the Legal Lean Sigma Institute, and a Change Management Certificate with Cornell University.  He is passionate about transformation work in private law practice with a goal of merging technical practice expertise with operational excellence, and is a frequent speaker, author and guest lecturer on legal innovation in private practice.
