Berger Singerman, Florida’s business law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates: Fernando A. Bolaños, who joins the firm’s Business, Finance & Tax Team in Miami, and James D. McGuire, who joins the Dispute Resolution Team in Orlando.
Bolaños has joined the firm’s Business, Finance & Tax Team in Miami. He advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including private fund formation, real estate joint ventures, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, restructurings, and general corporate governance. Fernando is fluent in Spanish and brings extensive experience supporting private equity sponsors, developers, and business owners in sophisticated transactions across the U.S. and Latin America.
McGuire has joined the firm’s Dispute Resolution Team in Orlando, where his practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and labor and employment matters. He represents clients in federal and state courts from the pre-suit stage through trial. Prior to joining the firm, James practiced at a national labor and employment law firm and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joel B. Toomey of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
