Dania Beach City Approves Plan for 13-story Apartment Building

J Milton & Associates obtained approval from the Dania Beach City Commission on Oct. 28 for a 13-story apartment building.
The Miami-based developer, through Dania Beach Rentals LLC, will demolish the 35,348-square-foot retail center at 601 East Dania Beach Blvd. It will build the 381-unit Sea View at Dania on the 3.54-acre site. The project would also have 2,000 square feet of retail.
Attorney Javier Vazquez, who represents J Milton & Associates, said construction should begin in summer 2020 and take 12 to 18 months.
The design of Sea View at Dania by Caymares Martin shows a pool deck and amenity rooms on the fifth floor. There would be 648 parking spaces.
Apartments in Sea View at Dania would range from 750 to 1,150 square feet. There would be 19 studios, 170 one-bedroom units, 147 two-bedroom units and 26 three-bedroom units.
Dania Beach has seen an influx of residential and commercial development, including the Dania Pointe mixed-use project. Spirit Airlines recently announced plans to build a headquarters office in the city.
