Christopher Andrew Jarvinen Serves as a Judge for The M&A Advisor’s 14th Annual Turnaround Awards

Christopher Andrew Jarvinen, a partner on the Business Reorganization Team of Berger Singerman LLP, recently served as a judge for The M&A Advisor’s 14th Annual Turnaround Awards. The M&A Advisor will be presenting the Turnaround Awards at a Black Tie Gala to be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at The Colony Hotel located in Palm Beach, Florida.
In an environment that is increasingly demanding of its professionals, the M&A Advisor seeks to recognize the leading transactions, firms and individuals that represent the highest level of performance. In its press release announcing this year’s Turnaround Awards, the Founder of the M&A Advisor, Roger Aguinaldo, stated, “These award winners are representative of those that reached the pinnacle of the distressed investing, bankruptcy and reorganization industry for 2019. They earned these honors by standing out in a group of very impressive candidates.”
The 2019 award winners were chosen from a pool of over 240 participating companies. Evaluation of the nominees and selection of the winners was completed by an independent judging panel made up of experts in the corporate restructuring community. Mr. Jarvinen was one of 18 professionals chosen to serve as a judge.
Mr. Jarvinen has been elected to the American College of Bankruptcy, American Law Institute, and the International Insolvency Institute, and he has served as a Fulbright scholar at the Bankruptcy Law & Restructuring Research Center in Beijing, China. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School, his undergraduate degree in Economics from Brown University, graduate degrees in theological ethics and religion from Harvard Divinity School and Yale Divinity School, a global Executive Master of Business Administration from FGV-EAESP in São Paulo, Brazil and both a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership and a Master of Science degree in Major Programme Management from the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford.
