The firm was the only law firm listed as a finalist and was also a winner ten years ago in 2006. No other law firm has ever won this award since 2005 when the awards program was founded.
On the same day as the awards ceremony, the firm was ranked as the second Top Workplace in South Florida in the mid-size category which celebrated 15 finalists by the Sun-Sentinel. This is the second consecutive year that the firm was recognized as being one of the best workplaces by the newspaper.
“At Berger Singerman, we believe that whatever success we have achieved is attributable to our unwavering focus on our culture, our commitment to delivering passionate service for our clients, our immensely talented attorneys and non-attorney team members, and our keeping gratitude top of mind in how we deal with each other, our clients and our referral sources” said Paul Steven Singerman, Co-Chair of Berger Singerman. “We are honored to have been selected by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce for this prestigious award, and are proud to be in the company of the other extraordinary South Florida company finalists and winners.”
The South Florida Good to Great Awards recognize for-profit businesses with headquarters in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties that have demonstrated proven leadership, a solid workforce base and growth from solid to great performance over a four-year period. Winners are selected in four categories based on size: 1-50 employees, 51-249 employees, 250-999 employees and 1,000+ employees.
These awards are the most recent honors the firm has received over the course of the last year, including being named one of Law360’s Florida Powerhouses, The National Law Journal’s Midsize Hot List, U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers’ Best Law Firms, and Chambers USA’s 2015 Top Florida Law Firms. Berger Singerman has also been recognized for its strong corporate culture, being named a Best Place to Work by the South Florida Business Journal for four years in a row.
