Berger Singerman, Florida’s business law firm, is proud to announce that Scott “SJ” Jablonski has been named Transactional Innovation Partner and Alejandro Miyar has been named Dispute Resolution Team Innovation Partner. Their responsibilities will be building on innovation initiatives and incorporating them into an umbrella of technology solutions and shared services to complement the firm’s nationally recognized legal services.
“In order to stay competitive and to optimize our efficiency and client service, we strive to keep our finger on the pulse of the latest innovations in the industry,” said Paul Steven Singerman, co-chair of Berger Singerman. “SJ and Alejandro’s backgrounds and interest in cutting-edge technology make them the perfect team members for the Innovation Partner role for each of their respective teams.”
Jablonski, a partner and member of the firm’s Business, Finance & Tax team, recently completed Suffolk University Law School’s prestigious Legal Innovation & Technology Certificate program, as well as the Yellow Belt Certification from the Legal Lean Sigma® Institute. He is currently the first and only attorney in the state of Florida to receive both certifications. With this expertise, Jablonski intends to augment Berger Singerman’s capabilities through enhanced transaction processing and engineering, innovative legal tech, streamlined collaboration across the entire deal team, and more. Jablonski was also recently appointed to the Alan B. Levan / NSU Broward Center of Innovation’s Advisory Council and will serve in 2022 on its Thought Leadership/Think Tank Committee.
Previously serving as the firm’s Innovation Advisor, Miyar has implemented new technologies and resources to efficiently serve the firm's clients and attorneys. Initiatives that he currently oversees include launching a pilot group to test AI software, developing portals for employees to communicate more efficiently with clients, upgrading the firm’s technology suite, and conducting in-house technology trainings.
Berger Singerman continues to invest in its future with the creation of these new innovative roles with the goal of meeting the ever-changing technological demands and modernization of the legal industry.
