Berger Singerman Bolsters Its Tax & Family Office Practice Areas With Addition of Keith J. Blum

Berger Singerman, Florida’s business law firm, is pleased to announce that Keith J. Blum has joined as a partner on the firm’s Business, Finance and Tax Team and will be resident in its Miami office.
Blum joins Berger Singerman’s Miami office and its Business, Finance & Tax Team as a partner with more than 30 years of experience counseling clients on a wide range of transactional tax issues, investments and planning matters. His practice regularly includes structuring and negotiating complex taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, business organizations and operations, restructurings, equity and debt financings, fund formations, operations and transactions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.

Blum’s practice also includes tax-exempt entity formation, operations, and governance and federal and state compliance, as well as tax controversy work. Keith will also support the firm’s Dispute Resolution Team members in matters relating to tax, accounting, auditing, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Berger Singerman, Blum was as an attorney with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, and McDermott Will & Emery LLP where he frequently advised high net worth individuals and multinational corporations. Blum pursued his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Florida where he received a B.S. and M.S. He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.
